I took the plunge after reading about the Diva Cup over at Crunchy Chicken and ordered a menstrual cup – much to my husbands horror! I did a tiny bit of research about it and decided that the Lunette was the way to go for me – I ordered it from this site and was amazed at the speed of their response – it took about 4 working days for the package to arrive in Australia – they have great customer service! Cup works really well although I have to admit I was a bit dubious once I saw it for real….it kind of looked….big…but it folds up and fits in and seems to work really well – no leaks, no waste….verdict…LOVE it!
By the way, I am still using my cloth toilet wipes for number 1′s and it’s going well…

I’ve seen them around and been wondering how they work. Just a question, does the cup have latex in it? I have a latex allergy…
Not to be too nosy, but what do you do with the cloth wipes between washings, treat them like nappies?

Well, well. I never knew anything like this existed. You learn something new every day!
Let us know how you go. I noticed that none of the testimonials on the site were from women who’d used it more than a few cycles.

Hi Rebecca,
I also love the Lunette (and Mooncup UK as well).
It is amazing Trudi, that hardly anyone knows about this, I felt exactly the same way. I gues that’s why people start to write about it when they discover it, but then it becomes part of life.
Ruthsplace most cups are silicone, so no probs with latex allergy. The only cup to stay away from is called ‘Keeper’ -which is rubber.
Anyway, do try it, it is great! Less hassle, more freedom, better for the environment.
