I am trying to keep up with the Yahoo Dishcloth KAL group and while I am not actually getting the cloths done along with the KAL, so far they are done. I figured that if I did all 12 KAL’s for the year I’d have 24 cloths to give away at Christmas with some nice soap or some luscious Loosha candles that my cousin makes (thinking School Teachers here).

They look great and I love the idea of building up a stash of gifts for the end of the year. What yarn do you use for them?

Your dishcloths look very nice. I’m making pedi-gift baskets that has homemade lotions and sugar scrubs and then you knit a washcloth to go with it. Can’t beat cheap and thoughtful gifts!

Thanks guys, I really like knitting them – they are pretty quick and easy. Chiara, I use a mixed lot of yarns – sometimes I pick up cotton from Spotlight on Sale but mostly I use Bendigo Woollen Mills cotton.
