LOVED knitting this!!! Lily designs lovely garments and this shawl was no exception. There is something very pleasing about the “blocks”. The rhythm of the pattern was easy to remember and repeat and starting from the largest number of stitches was very rewarding as the rows got quicker and quicker. I made a mistake on my first attempt and put the stitch markers in the wrong spot – a result of having sinusitis at the time – and got 1/2 way through before I realised. I only realised because my needle snapped and I transferred it a circular…drrrrr – why I didn’t start with one is beyond me! This was a quick, easy knit that is effective and a great use of some of Mum’s stash. Go check out Lily’s other patterns!
