In the end I used this site – it was awesome. Love the Smocks, shame about the petulant model! I am yet to finish the sewing on the applique of Sophie’s (which is now living at school) but the other one is complete! I really should have thought about the names I gave my children for future applique projects :).

What can I say – your instructions and ideas are brilliant! I will always link back to other people’s ideas as I really appreciate the generosity of fellow bloggers!
I made 2 smocks and they are both lovely – my husband was most obliging giving up his only two mauve/purple shirts for the girls – and the neighbours were stoked.
